Watch Monk Season 1

Monk originally aired on July 12, 2002, and was released to DVD two years later on June 15, 2004. It features Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub) who worked for the San Francisco Police Department able to solve some of the most baffling cases. After his wife is murdered, Monk becomes obsessive-compulsive. This psychological disorder causes him to develop an abnormal fear of many things that are in everyday life: crowds, heights, germs, and even milk. Monk is fired from his job because of his unique condition. Monk hires a personal nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram) who offers her assistance when the simplest task is an ordeal for Monk. Soon she starts helping him on his cases becoming much like a  Dr. Watson to his Sherlock Holmes.
