Monk Episodes

Here is the question that has been on everybody’s mind: is Monk coming back after the winter? And the answer is a very sad no. December 4th is scheduled to be the very last episode of Monk. Of course that doesn’t mean that you can’t watch past episodes online.
In the last few episodes of Monk, Monk is searching for Trudy’s killer so we know that in the very last episode he will find her killer. The real question is, will finding her murderer stop his obsessive compulsive behavior? The only way to find out is to watch the episode for yourself.

Adrian Monk (Tony Shaloub) is the obsessive compulsive detective who was kicked off the police force when his eccentric behavior got to be too much. The death of his wife, Trudy, exacerbated his symptoms making it difficult to function. Even when his OCD is an overwhelming force, Monk still has powerful skills of observation which has helped him solve cases throughout the 8 seasons the show has been on.

In the final episodes of Monk, he starts to come to terms with his condition, and his symptoms start to drop away. If the symptoms are improved significantly, Monk is able to move forward in his life and he won’t be stuck as a private investigator with an aversion to being with others.

Season 8 of Monk has been following the same format as the past seasons. It has the same 16 episode format, but the final 5 episodes of the season are interconnected. They all help to bring a sense of closure to the series. The final episode is a two parter that focuses on Trudy’s murder and Monk will finally be able to achieve closure as he finds the murderer.
