The hit series Monk first appeared on July 12, 2002 and is currently on its 8th and final season. Monk (Tony Shalhoub) is an private detective with an obsessive-compulsive disorder who is afraid of just about everything. He soves more cases than episodes in this series and never kicks his obsessive-compulisive disorder. He has to hire a nurse to get through the everyday tasks that become an ordeal to him. His first nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram) leaves in season 3 and Monk hires a new nurse, Natalie Teeger (Traylor Howard), is hired.
